Vocera Wins Three 2014 CEO World Awards for Visionary and Healthcare Achievements

The company's chief executive officer, Brent Lang, has been selected as a Visionary CEO Gold Winner for 2014. Additionally, Vocera Care Experience was named a Gold Winner for Best New Healthcare Products, Upgrades and Innovations of the Year. Finally, the company's website, Vocera.com, was selected as a Gold Winner for Best New Healthcare Website of the Year.
The annual CEO World Awards program encompasses the world's best in leadership, innovation, organizational performance, new products and services, CEO case studies, and customer satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world. Visionary CEO Gold Winner Brent Lang has served as the president and CEO of Vocera since June 2013. Having started with the company in 2001, he has worked in many roles, including chief operating officer, executive vice president and vice president of marketing and business development. With deep experience in Vocera's portfolio of technologies, he helped lead the company through its Initial Public Offering in 2012. Lang earned a B.S. in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
