A Code Lavender program is a formalized rapid response designed to support patients, families, physicians, nurses, and staff members in times of emotional distress.

The Experience Innovation Network, part of Vocera®, has released a toolkit to help organizations create a Code Lavender program that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of patients, families, and care team members.

You can download the Executive Summary and Quick Start Guide, which provide high-level guidance on starting a Code Lavender program. The full toolkit, which includes case examples and detailed recommendations for implementation, is available to members of the Experience Innovation Network at no charge and for active Vocera customers upon request.
