The webinar will take place on Thursday, April 10 at 10 a.m. PDT.
During this complimentary webinar, titled "Improving Quality through Patient, Staff and Physician Experience," Bill Maples, MD, senior vice president and chief quality officer for Mission Health, will present a case study detailing the system's success to integrate quality, safety and experience strategies. In less than 24 months, Mission Health boosted its physician communication scores from the 60th to the 85th percentile in Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction measures. Mission Health also decreased its risk-adjusted mortality rate to less than 0.8 percent, which puts it in the top 16 percent of healthcare organizations in the United States for observed and expected mortality.

Dr. Maples will be joined on the webinar by Bridget Duffy, MD, chief medical officer (CMO) of Vocera, who will share proven strategies to build sustainable relationship-based cultures that improve market differentiation, outcomes and loyalty. Dr. Duffy has led the patient experience movement for more than 20 years and was the first Chief Experience Officer in the country at the Cleveland Clinic. As the CMO of Vocera and the co-founder of the Experience Innovation Network, Dr. Duffy works closely with organizations in the United States and Canada to design and implement solutions that humanize healthcare.
