Vocera Chief Medical Officer to Give Keynote Presentation at MGMA

SAN JOSE, Calif., October 27, 2014 -- Vocera Communications, Inc. Bridget Duffy, MD, will be a keynote speaker at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Annual Conference, Oct. 26-29 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Dr. Duffy's keynote, "Restoring Humanity to Healthcare: The Key to Driving Loyalty and Growth," will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 4-5:15 p.m. PDT. The presentation will feature innovative solutions that improve communication and restore the human connection in healthcare. Dr. Duffy will also outline how to map the gaps in efficiency and empathy, engage physicians in this work, and socialize a checklist of Always Events® that create a consistent and seamless healthcare experience from first to last impression. In addition, Dr. Duffy will focus on the "quadruple aim," which she defines as restoring joy back to the practice of medicine while elevating patient-centered care, improving outcomes, and reducing healthcare costs.
