Social and Environmental Responsibility
Vocera is committed to growing its business in a social and environmentally responsible manner. In fiscal year 2020 (FY20), we identified the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues that are most important to our business. Based on this assessment, we developed an ESG Framework organized across three pillars: People, Products, and Operations.

Commitment to our communities
Vocera is passionate about our communities and giving back is important to who we are. We support our local and global communities through employee volunteerism and corporate giving.
We encourage employees to volunteer and give back through our Volunteer Time Off program. This paid time off enables employees to volunteer during the work week at 501(c)(3) or internationally equivalent corporations for a certain number of hours per year.
Vocera also supports community efforts by making corporate donations according to our corporate giving policy. Some donations are given through the company’s matching funds program in conjunction with employee giving, and other donations are made via the Vocera Foundation. The company’s employee-run Employee Community Involvement Council manages the employee volunteerism and corporate giving programs to ensure that we continue to give back through financial support and the energy and passion of our global employees.
