Co-founder, Experience Innovation Network

Kimberly Petty, MBA, MBB, is the co-founder of the Experience Innovation Network and is now a consultant, helping organizations design and implement strategies to improve the healthcare experience for patient, families and care teams. Prior to co-founding the Experience Innovation Network, Kim formed Value Genesis, LLC, a strategic healthcare consulting business, where she worked with major hospital systems, senior housing companies, and businesses serving healthcare to develop long-term strategic plans and deploy customer experience programs.

Kim spent more than nine years with General Electric, where she had most recently served as VP, Customer Programs at the company’s Healthcare Financial Services business. In that capacity, she delivered programs in talent development, process improvement, and strategic planning to companies in the healthcare industry. She also led Net Promoter™ Score customer loyalty efforts and supported new product innovation.

Kim's work with healthcare organizations has driven dramatic improvements in satisfaction scores and market share. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, she has executed many large process improvement projects, reducing cycle times and inefficiencies.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and International Business from Ohio University and a master’s degree from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she studied Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing.
