Rachel Urbis, MPH, is the Member Engagement Manager for the Experience Innovation Network, leading the network’s advisory services and member relationship strategy. She is responsible for ensuring an exceptional member experience and plays a key role in the day-to-day delivery of member services. Prior to joining the Experience Innovation Network, Rachel worked for Five Rivers Health Centers, coordinating an outreach enrollment program targeting uninsured hospital patients.
Rachel is a native of Michigan and has been a Michigan State University Spartan fan since birth. She received her B.S. in Human Biology, with a specialization in Bioethics, Humanities and Society from Michigan State University. During undergrad, Rachel studied abroad at Regent’s College in London, comparing the British National Health Service with the evolving U.S. health care system and examining ethical issues that arise from their differences, particularly those concerning allocation of resources. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Public Health, at Michigan State University. During her master’s program, Rachel's research focused on reducing preventable emergency department admissions.
Rachel loves to travel whenever possible, and has had the opportunity to visit five continents. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating, skiing and cooking.
