Vocera University now offers half-day instructor-led distance learning courses on the topics most requested by Vocera customers without the need to travel. Courses are highly interactive with hands-on labs, lectures, and discussions in small class sizes to provide personalized attention and productive group interactions. Take advantage of this educational opportunity to partner with Vocera administrators and super users in similar organizations across North America and the UK to perform lab exercises and share best practices. Introduction to Vocera |
Prerequisite Course: None This introductory-level class is the foundation of Vocera knowledge. You will learn important information about the Vocera® communications system architecture and key features. You will also learn how to operate a Vocera B2000 communications badge as well as primary Vocera voice commands. |
4.X Administration |
Prerequisite Course: Introduction to Vocera Track: Technical and Administrator Required for Authorization: Administrator This course will teach attendees how to administer and maintain a Vocera communications system. Attendees will get an overview of the Vocera communications system's architecture and system key features that provide maximum workflow benefits. At the heart of the learning experience is the hands-on creation of the Vocera Medical Center. Attendees will create a real database and configure a Vocera server from customer requirements through to confirmation of system readiness. |
4.X Technology |
Prerequisite Course: Introduction to Vocera Track: Technical Required for Authorization: Network Engineer This course will provide network engineers detailed information on the functionality of the Vocera communications system and requirements of necessary, non-Vocera infrastructure such as server hardware, operating system, PBX (digital and analog), IP infrastructure, wireless and wired. It will also expand on topics such as WLAN site survey for VoIP applications (Vocera) using Vocera-sanctioned tools. |
Expert End-User Training (How to Train End Users) |
Prerequisite Course: Introduction to Vocera (recommended but not required) This hands-on course will focus on both becoming an expert end user and how to train expert end users. The course includes and discusses numerous use cases, badge functionality, and the best practices to maximize the benefits of your Vocera communications system. |
