VOCERA COMMUNICATIONS NAMES VICTORIA PERKINS VICE PRESIDENT OF CUSTOMER SERVICES

Cupertino, Calif. (December 14, 2005) - Vocera Communications, a wireless communications company providing instant voice communication solutions for mobile personnel, announced today that Victoria Perkins has joined the company as vice president of Customer Services after successfully assisting the company in defining a growth-oriented strategic customer services framework. This is a newly created position reflective of the company's service emphasis.

Prior to serving as a consultant, she was vice president of Professional Services for Sun Microsystems' Software Tools Division, and Forte Software which was acquired by Sun in 1999. She has a record of creating highly efficient services organizations resulting in increased company growth. Previously, she held senior management positions at Objectivity Software, Verity Software, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
