Vocera Communications Names Paul Scott Vice President of Sales
CUPERTINO, Calif. (Sep. 10, 2002) - Vocera Communications, Inc. today announced that Paul Scott has been selected as vice president of sales. Mr. Scott joins the company after a long, distinguished career in sales of voice and messaging products.
"Paul's extensive experience as a sales leader for innovative products and his understanding of our solution, our channels, and our customers, made him the right choice to join our team," said Julie Shimer, CEO of Vocera Communications.
Mr. Scott brings more than 25 years of sales experience to Vocera with a successful track record of developing global sales organizations. Most recently, Paul was the senior vice president for Nuance Communications' worldwide field organization. Prior to that, Scott led the worldwide field organization for Octel Communications. His career began at AT&T Communications, where he held various management positions.
