HILL-ROM COMPANY NAMED FIRST PREMIER SOLUTION PROVIDER PARTNER FOR VOCERA COMMUNICATIONS
Partnership provides high-quality communications solutions for hospitals
CUPERTINO, Calif. (February 26, 2007) — Vocera Communications, a wireless communications company providing instant voice communication for mobile personnel, today announced that Hill-Rom Company, a leading global provider of health care solutions, has become their first partner to achieve Premier Solution Provider (PSP) status.

Hill-Rom has partnered with Vocera Communications for more than four years and has sold more than 30,000 Vocera license seats. To become a PSP partner for Vocera, resellers must meet a number of requirements, including extensive class room and field training, a large number of independent installations, and a commitment to developing the partnership through resources and sales.

The Vocera Communications System enables mission-critical mobile workers within buildings or campuses to instantly communicate with one another using wearable Vocera Communications Badges. The system provides hands-free calling that is set up via voice commands, enabling workers to be immediately connected with the people they need to reach, which allows for improved productivity and customer service.
