Bluesocket Achieves VoIP Vocera Certifications

Announces Partnership with Vocera for Voice over Wireless LAN in Healthcare

BURLINGTON, Mass. (December 19, 2006) – Bluesocket, Inc., the leader in open wireless network, security and management solutions, today announced that its BlueSecure WLAN solution suite has passed Vocera Communications interoperability testing for Voice over WLANs (VoWLAN).

Bluesocket has recently announced that its product includes industry leading VoIP security and QoS functions, including “one-click” setup of the wireless network settings to support Vocera Communications Badges. The Vocera Communications Badge is a wearable device that weighs less than two ounces and can easily be clipped to a shirt pocket or worn on a lanyard. It enables instant two-way voice conversation without the need to remember a phone number or manipulate a handset.
