The Vocera B3000 Communication Badge is a lightweight, wearable hands-free, voice-controlled communication device that provides caregivers with the ultimate in easy-to-use, effective communication with staff, patients and alert functions on any wireless LAN enabled network. It enables caregivers to instantly speak with the resources they need right from the point of care. The Badge can be clipped to a shirt pocket or worn on a lanyard.

The Badge enables instant two-way voice conversation using natural spoken commands. To initiate a conversation with Dr. Jim Smith, for example, the user would simply say, "Call Dr. Smith."

Designed to be used in noisy environments
Four microphones and Acoustic Noise Reduction (ANR) improve the ability to communicate in noisy environments by eliminating background noise.

Messaging and Alerts
The Communication Badge includes an easy to read display that shows caller ID, messages and alerts.

Antimicrobial Technology
The exterior surfaces of the Vocera Communication Badge incorporate a silver-ion antimicrobial technology from BioCote® which inhibits the growth of microorganisms protecting the surface of the product/badge.
